Improving a table

The Dondorps reading this will remember that old ugly and heavy table we moved in in the summer. This evening we began the project to paint this table, and the ten chairs that followed with it in a nice fresh white.

Originally this table was a light wood colour. During its lifetime it has been painted once or twice. Before we started, it was this deep brown-red colour.

We sanded the tabletop to make the paint stick better, and to make the colour underneath less obvious. 

We think that even with only one layer, the table has already improved. We look forward to the endresult, even though there is ten chairs to paint before that time.
